Lately, China’s National Renewable Energy Information Administration Center issued a green power consumption certificate featuring 1.166 million kilowatt-hours to Adisseo’s Nanjing plant, which represents the company’s green power trading in January 2023.

The “Green Power Certificate” confirms and proves the amount and attribute of non-hydropower renewable energy generation, and it is the only certificate for green power consumption, demonstrating the company’s commitment to consuming green power and supporting the development of green power.

Adisseo’s Nanjing plant attaches great importance to green development, adheres to the green and low-carbon goals, leverages risk identification tools, digs into the risks and opportunities of the company’s energy-saving and carbon-reduction, scientifically sets energy efficiency improvement target plans, and drives the continuous improvement of the company’s energy-saving and carbon-reduction work. From January to March 2023, the Nanjing plant participated in green power trading for a total of 10.5 million kilowatt-hours, of which the amount of electricity that has obtained the “Green Power Certificate” reaching 3.498 million kilowatt-hours, equivalent to a reduction of 2,400 tons of carbon dioxide emissions.
